A bunch of 200 agitating farmers organised a ‘Kisan Sansad’ to lift their voice in opposition to the three agri legal guidelines at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. The farmer leaders stated that the aim of organising the ‘Kisan Sansad’ is to point out that their agitation remains to be alive and inform the Centre that they too know the best way to run the Parliament. Within the wake of protest, the Delhi Police tightened the safety at Jantar Mantar to keep up legislation and order. Farmer chief Raminder Singh Patiala stated, “There shall be three classes of the ‘Sansad’. Six members have been chosen who shall be chosen as speaker and deputy speaker for the three classes. Within the first session, farmer leaders Hannan Mollah and Manjeet Singh had been chosen for the posts. After the Republic Day violence, the farmers this time determined to make the gathering small. “Neither we nor the federal government had been comfy with massive gathering,” a frontrunner stated.
