The Election Commission of India (ECI) has cleared the appointment of senior Gujarat-cadre IAS officer Anupam Anand because the new state chief electoral officer (CEO). Based on an official notification issued by the Fee, the 2000-batch IAS officer Anand will change S Murali Krishna, who was serving because the Gujarat CEO for the final three years.
“Anand (44) is at present serving as Secretary of the state Tribal Improvement Division, has changed S.
