Bharti Airtel, the nation’s second largest telecom producer, has partnered with US chipset maker Qualcomm to rollout the 5G service in India. With this partnership, the arrival of the 5G service in India will get an acceleration.

Airtel stated in a press launch, “As a board member of the O-RAN Alliance, it’s dedicated to implementing the nation’s O-RAN imaginative and prescient. It has additionally been stated that O-RAN’s versatile and scalable structure will create new alternatives for small and medium-sized companies to make 5G networks a stronger participant.”

“As well as, Airtel and Qualcomm Applied sciences will collaborate to allow a number of use circumstances, together with 5G mounted wi-fi (CSS) designed to supply Gigabit-enabled broadband connectivity in houses and companies,” the corporate stated.
