An Upstate New York father-to-be died when a bomb he was assembling for his kid’s gender reveal celebration exploded on Sunday, according to the Syracuse Post-Standard.
New York State Police confirmed in a press release that Christopher Pekny, 28, was killed at his residence in Liberty, New York. Authorities additionally confirmed WABC that Pekny was the father-to-be of the kid who was the topic of the gender reveal celebration.
State Police stated that round midday on Sunday, they responded to stories of an explosion at Pekny’s residence. Pekny’s brother, Michael Pekny, was with Christopher on the time of the explosion and suffered accidents.
