The Vadodara police on Wednesday booked a person for alleged home violence, felony intimidation and obscenity after he threatened his 21-year-old “spouse” in Manjalpur space of town on Tuesday.
The person is out on bail in an earlier case of kidnapping the girl when she was a minor.
BG Chetariya, inspector of Manjalpur police station, the place the case was filed, stated, “The lady who’s now 21 filed a criticism and informed us that the accused went to her residence on Tuesday and threatened her father to withdraw the case filed in opposition to him in 2016 when the lady was a minor.”

Chetariya stated that the police can also be awaiting the wedding certificates of the couple with a view to verify if the costs of home violence below Part 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) could be utilized.
“We’ll ebook the accused for felony intimidation below Part 506(2) of the IPC in addition to obscenity below part 294 of the IPC as he additionally hurled abuses on the complainant and her household.
