COIMBATORE: A complete of 73,200 doses of Covid-19 vaccine reached Coimbatore by highway from Chennai on Wednesday.
The vaccines had been unloaded and saved within the district’s regional vaccine storage.
The 73,200 doses embody 40,600 doses for Coimbatore, 13,800 doses for Erode, 13,500 doses for Tirupur and 5,300 doses for the Nilgiris. Officers mentioned the vaccine can be dispatched to the opposite three districts.
All of the doses for Coimbatore might be saved in its regional vaccine storage. Later, they’d be despatched to vaccination centres.
